Just because they don’t have a valentine. It’s not like Valentine’s Day is a universal holiday. I doubt people in the African jungle will be giving chocolates to each other tomorrow.

Seriously, not everyone celebrates it. What, you gonna hate on Kwanzaa, Hannukah or Christmas too since you can’t celebrate one or the other? I’m just saying, Valentine’s Day is not that big of a deal. It shouldn’t even be a big deal to begin with if you’re single cause well… YOU’RE SINGLE! let it be! You’ll look even more pathetic by hating Vday cause you seem so insecure about being alone. And if you hate it because you’re not receiving flowers, candies or cards that day, then you’re putting it out there that you just want something superficial rather than something special. 

Embrace your single-ness. It’s just another day if you’re single. The chocolates will melt, the roses will dry up and the Valentine cards will just be stashed away in some drawer. You’ll get your own someday in the future =) 

whew, havent been on tumblr forever and my first post in two weeks is a rant. but im doing well. midterms are killer and finals are around the corner.
